Yes, the pendant is smaller, but it's not a "small" necklace - it is more of a medium size. I love the oxidized silver around the elongated diamond-shaped pendant - it looks smart with the green stones with grape/ruby flecks. It has a daintly, antique quality about it. I am pleased.

I was so excited to get this necklace today. I opened the black box, removed the necklace from its plastic pouch and several of the beads fell right off of it onto the floor. I couldn't understand what happened and then I saw that the clasp was all by itself in the plastic bag still. What happened to quality assurance? It's as if someone returned a broken necklace and it was repackaged and sent off to me. Extremely disappointed. Will think twice before ordering another.

Can't give this one an excellent only because the pendant was not as large as I have come to expect with Jay's pieces--I know they give measurements but after so many purchases, I have come to expect a substantial pendant. The stone is very pretty with lots of ruby flecks and the beads show a lot of ruby as well.

This is my first Jay King piece and it is BEAUTIFUL! Mine arrived in great shape, and has a very sleek, clean yet organic look and feel to it. I LOVE IT! It is very comfortable on and not too heavy. The pendant itself is a nice sample with lots of ruby specs in it. I will definitely buy more of Jay's pieces. If you like an organic, yet clean, sleek look - this is one to try.

I have ordered mine finds before & have been very happy. However somewhere quality control has lost it. I received this necklace broken & it was missing THE PENDANT. Don't know how that could slip through. The beads on this necklace were NOT shiny as it said in the presentation. Just not happy. Also ordered a sleeping beauty pendant and it had matrix in it and the turqouise was cracked. Love mine finds but what is going on???

Modified barrel-shaped ruby fuchsite beads (approx. 10x6 to 16x12mm) graduate larger towards the front of the necklace.
